 What was it that brought me here? What is it that keeps me here? My mind spins in circles and though sometimes it may slow down I keep getting asked questions I don't know the answer to. When going with the flow stops flowing so easily I need to create my own current. My life would be so much easier if my decisions didn't affect other people, but it's for the best that they do. I can continue to chase my dreams but how long will that last once I've gotten what I want?

Though I have so much inspiration, I'm losing motivation. My hopes may be irrational but only because I'm not trying hard enough. I keep telling myself that I need to just sit down and work but I never know where to start. So many times I want to drop everything and just explore the world with nothing but necessities, no need to keep track of time, no time to waste, nothing to waste. I feel so disconnected now yet all I want is to disconnect further.

I am no where near breaking. I have some of the greatest friends a girl could ask for. My life is so full of inspiration, I just have to stop diluting it by taking the wrong paths. When I wake up from my dreamland, I'll know which direction I have to take to find my solace. My life only continues to improve despite all of my negativity and all of my worries are only temporary.

happy weekend

We can all thank my friend, Torrie, for the above picture. Thanks Torrie <3. In case you didn't know, Torrie is a very talented young woman with an already excellent collection of artwork and you can discover her here: torrieanneart. I had a great weekend with this lady down in the LBC and even got a chance to explore around town to take some pictures. This weekend has been a nice break, but I'm excited to get back to work on some of my projects as soon as the sun comes up tomorrow.

I was, however, a little bummed to find out today that my free Flickr account has run it's course and I'll have to upgrade to a Pro account to continue to share all of the photos that I'd like to share. You got me there, Flickr. Until I upgrade only some of my photos will be viewable, so I'll be holding off on adding too much to my album. It may seem like a silly concern but I am definitely looking forward to the day when I can afford to upgrade my account. I would love to continue creating albums where people can look at my photos without having to read all of my ramblings or scroll through my piles of webpages. Buy me a Pro Account?  Maybe? summer daze

I have been in a total summer daze. Not getting dressed, skipping showers and eating junk food. I blame it on the heat! Thankfully I live less than eleven miles away from the beach, which is always up to twenty degrees cooler than it is here. I could never get tired of life at the beach, my puppers loves it too. Despite my recent laziness I am still working on accomplishing some personal goals, a little more slowly than I would have liked to. But I am definitely enjoying my summer, and hopefully I'll have some new stuff up in my shop soon! wednesdays in L.A.

So, my mother and I planned a trip to downtown LA's fashion district in search of some wholesale yarn stores, or any yarn store. What did we find? A crap-load of fabric, shop after shop full of all types of fabric, but no yarn. I'm still trying to find a good place to purchase bulk quantities of yarn, but as of now I'll continue to buy from my current supplier, (though they refuse to return my calls and e-mails when I have a problem with my orders from them). As for today, we decided to go out for lunch in LA and then head over to Santa Monica for some shopping and a walk on the pier.

enjoy summer

I've started working on new additions to my shop for summer. There will be lots of fringe, varieties of colors and plenty of beachwear. All items will be for sale on my shop and made to order to your size and specifications. This is just the beginning:

As far as the personal stuff goes, I'm going to be making a lot of positive changes in my life which will hopefully affect my products positively as well. I'm really getting into holistic health including yoga, use of herbs and natural substances for bodily care, healthy eating and meditation. Already, this lifestyle is incredibly addicting and I plan to continue with the good habits. I will be keeping this blog undated on all of the healthy goings on in my life. Keep in touch.
